Biography books in the BAHS Media Center are located in the 920's nonfiction section.  They are alphabetical by the subject's last name.   These may be checked out.

 

Current Biography Series volumes 1941-2006 is a collection of well known people arranged alphabetically within each yearly volume.  Use the Index volume to locate subjects.  These can't be checked out, but the general office may photocopy an article for your personal use.

MEL is  Michigan’s electronic library with loads of databases containing full-text articles.

Try Wilson Select or General Reference Center Gold for a huge selection of full text articles from magazines, journals, books, and newspapers.

  • Skip over database articles that are “reviews”.
  • Look for and use the built-in print features in all databases and websites.
