The residents of our 3 local assisted living homes had their days brighten with the delivery of 252 Thanksgiving cards. Good job to National Honor Society, Mrs. Posluszny's classes and the classes of Mrs. Hobkirk, Mrs. Hollingsworth, Ms. Krug, Mrs. Lacy, and Mrs. Wisner.

Today Ascent High School had its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for students and staff. This was the 4th year of the event and was enjoyed by all. A huge thank you to Heather Drabek and Brent Wehner from Thumb Bank. They have been the sponsor of the event since it began. Another huge thank you to John Miles and his Food and Hospitality class from the Huron Area Tech Center for preparing the meal once again.

The Bad Axe Lions Club is once again offering scholarships to Bad Axe Public School students to help with the costs of drivers education classes. On Sunday, NHS members cleaned up Huron County's roadway for the fall.

Congratulations to our varsity volleyball for being runners-up in our annual Hatchet Invitational tournament to kick off the 2025 season. The Hatchets hosted 13 schools on Saturday playing very well in their season debut. GO BLUE!
