All of our 7th and 8th graders received a FREE book today, thanks to the generosity of the Bad Axe Public Library and NextEra Energy. Our students are so grateful for this amazing gift! 💙

The event honored the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, character, leadership, and service, and featured an inspiring speech from Briynne McCrea. Following the ceremony, 42 members celebrated with family and friends over light refreshments.

Students who participated in this year's TFOTA Solo & Ensemble will be performing their pieces for friends and family at this free event. Come hear a wide variety of instruments and experience the musical talent of BAPS on Wednesday, March 25, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school cafetorium.

The Bad Axe Lions Club offers the Judge Karl Kraus Driver Education Memorial Scholarship to students who are currently enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a driver’s education program in the Thumb.

The Bad Axe Middle School Academic Team brought home the 1st-place trophy from their competition at SVSU last week. Congratulations to team members Roman Grekowicz, Graydon Maurer, Caitlyn Bulla, Bailey Bachman, Delaney McKimmy, Olivia Smith, Elinor McCrea, Madi Koroleski, Hazel Brining, and Wyatt Hass (not pictured).
Our Hatchets tackled challenges that included writing a team essay and answering questions Jeopardy-style. A special shout-out to the three parents who came to support the team!
