The Hatchet Boys Soccer Team’s season came to an end Thursday night after a thrilling overtime loss 3-2 to Clarkston Everest Collegiate. The Hatchets started the game down two goals early in the game before settling in for the rest of the first half. Ten minutes into she second half, Cody Palmer scored for the Hatchets on a pass from Jacobo de la Cuesta Mendoza. Seven minutes later, Cody Palmer struck again on another pass from Jacobo de la Cuesta Mendoza tying the game at 2-2. In overtime, the Hatchets conceded a third goal and the overtime would finish at 3-2. Cole Stirrett ended the night with 23 saves in net. The Hatchets finished the season with an over all record of 12-2 and were a perfect 10-0 in league play to claim the 2025 Big Thumb Conference Title.
