We are experiencing a partial power outage at the Middle and Ascent School. We are in contact with DTE and expect to have it restored shortly. Normal operations continue at all schools.
Today's Band Festival at North Branch will still be taking place. All band students need to be at the high school no later than 2:50pm. Questions can be directed to Mr. Smith.

Bad Axe Schools will be closed for today, Friday, March 10 due to the inclement weather.
With the expected winter storm, Bad Axe Schools will release students early tomorrow, Friday, March 3. High School students will be dismissed at 12:15pm and Elementary/Middle School students will be dismissed at 12:25pm. We will serve lunch to students prior to dismissal.
THANK YOU to the Bad Axe Area District Library and the Consumers Energy Foundation for giving two new books to every 7th and 8th grader in our school system!!
Thank you to Andrew Hebberd from the Hebberd Insurance Agency for the generous donation to help the ten Bad Axe High School students that will be travelling to the Dominican Republic on a service trip in March.

STATE BOUND! Congratulations to both of our Hatchet Bowling teams who earned their way to the MHSAA State Finals next weekend. At regionals yesterday, the boys finished 3rd and girls finished 2nd. GO BLUE!

The Dominican Republic Work Trip Soup Dinner Fundraiser has been rescheduled to next Tuesday, February 28th, from 4:30 to 7.
The can drive has also been extended to next Tuesday.

Bad Axe Schools will dismiss early today (Wed., Feb 22) at 12:15pm with the impending winter storm warning. Lunch will be served to students prior to dismissal. All evening activities and events are canceled.
The Bad Axe High School Interact Club is having a can drive February 20th through the 24th to fundraise for the 2023 Dominican Republic Work Trip. Community members are welcome to donate cans and bottles to a trailer that will be located in front of the high school that week. All proceeds will go towards trip costs and fees.
